About Justin

I am an undergraduate college student living in Albany, Oregon, USA. I am currently attending Oregon State University, working toward a BS degree in Physics and a second BS in Computational Physics. I will also be taking some additional computer science classes. Computational physics is a multidisciplinary science combining physics, computer science, and applied mathematics. As you may have noticed, one of my greatest interests is in astronomy, especially planetary science. I also enjoy programming, making electronics projects, outdoor recreation (like hiking, mountaineering, and skiing), listening to music (progressive rock and progressive jazz), and modifying my 1979 Datsun 280ZX.

gentoo

I use Gentoo linux

I have been using linux primarily for many years now. Gentoo is a high-performance linux (or BSD) source distribution that is highly flexible and configurable, yet easy to administer and update. Great for building a highly custom linux installation. Not for beginners.
